We encourage performer of all ethnicities, gender identities, and ages, as well as performers with disabilities, to submit. To best demonstrate our commitment to inclusion in our community, VOS encourages ALL actors to audition for ANY role which they feel they can fully embody authentically.

Tuesday, December 9: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Wednesday, December 10 22: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Thursday, December 11: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturday, December 13: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm (12 pm & 1pm are reserved for performers ages 14 and younger)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Auditions will be a mix of singing, acting and learning/performing choreography.
- Each audition slot will be 1 hour long and include.
- Choreography walk-through
- Individual Singing
- Choreography Performance
- All auditioners are required for the full hour
- Singing will be performed individually, while the choreography will be learned/performed in a group setting.
- Performers will be asked to prepare the following:
- Any two (2) of the audition cuts/songs provided in the “Audition Materials” tab that you feel best represent you.
- Become familiar with the choreography provided in the “Audition Materials” tab.
- Please wear something you can move in.
- Performers are encouraged to have fun, make strong character choices. We can’t wait to see what you do!

DATES TO NOTE:
- Sunday, December 14: Callbacks | 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm | VOS Hall
- All performers called back for the brothers/siblings will be asked to sing the Joseph’s Dreams cut at callbacks. Please pick and learn any of the parts in any octave. We will review, then sing these as a group at callbacks.
- Sunday, January 11: First rehearsal & administration Day (Script pick up, Introductions, costume measurements, etc) | VOS Hall
- Rehearsals are held Tuesday & Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Not all cast members will be required at every rehearsal, but everyone should plan to be available. Rehearsal schedules will be provided in advance; however, they may be adjusted at the director’s discretion.
*All cast members must hold a valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (also known as a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector – PIC-VS), which includes an RCMP criminal record and vulnerable sector check. If you do not have a current one, VOS will assist you in obtaining it.
** PLEASE NOTE: All members of Actors Equity who plan to audition for this production must receive a permission to work without reference to an Equity contract prior to auditions **
