Here’s What To Expect On Your Audition Day:

• Auditions will be a mix of singing, acting and learning/performing choreography.
• Auditions will take place within a 1 hour time slot and include:
  • Choreography walk-through
  • Individual Singing
  • Choreography Performance
  • All auditionees are required for the full hour
• Singing will be performed individually, while the choreography will be learned/performed in a group setting.
• Performers will be asked to prepare the following:
  • One of the audition cuts/songs provided in the “Audition Materials” tab that you feel best represent you.
  • Become familiar with the choreography provided in the “Audition Materials” tab.
  • Please wear something you can move in.
• Performers are encouraged to have fun, make strong character choices. We can’t wait to see what you do!

• Rehearsals are held Tuesday & Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Not all cast members will be required at every rehearsal, but everyone should plan to be available. Rehearsal schedules will be provided in advance; however, they may be adjusted at the director’s discretion.

*All cast members must hold a valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (also known as a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector – PIC-VS), which includes an RCMP criminal record and vulnerable sector check. If you do not have a current one, VOS will assist you in obtaining it.
